Guest Capacity
Salmon Lodge can accommodate eight fishing guests and four non-fishing guests.
Accommodations
The main lodge has three double occupancy bedrooms with double beds and two baths, and one master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, living room, private bath and fireplace.
The private guest house has two double occupancy bedrooms with double beds, private living room and bathroom.
Meals
Gourmet breakfasts, lunches, dinners, hors d’oeuvres and snacks are included. We cater to guests with special dietary requirements.
Alcohol
Guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol. We supply all ice, mix and drink ingredients. Wine is included with dinner. The liquor store in town has a very nice selection of beer, liquor and wine.
Services
A telephone, fax and computer with Internet access are available for our guests’ use.
Travel
Air
There are many ways to travel to Salmon Lodge. Our closest airport is located in Bonaventure, QC, about 10 minutes from the lodge. The airport is served Monday to Friday by a local charter. This flight requires an overnight stay in Montreal. Air Canada provides daily flights from Montreal to Gaspé, QC and Bathurst, NB. The Lodge is a two-hour drive from both Gaspé and Bathurst. You can either rent a car or we can pick you up and take you back for $225 each way. We are equipped with a 1,920-metre (6,300-foot) paved landing strip to accommodate private aircraft.
Train
There is an overnight train from Montreal. The train is equipped with private bedrooms, a lounge car and dining car. The train schedule accommodates a full day’s fishing on your first and last days at the Lodge. The train schedule is favourable for anyone flying into Montreal as it is a late-departure train (approx. 6:30 pm). The return portion is early arrival at 8:00am which allows for relatively early flight departure from Montreal.
Car
We are an easy drive from anywhere in Eastern Canada and the northeastern United States. We are about 11 hours from Boston, MA, nine hours from Portland, ME and nine hours from Montreal.

2009 SALMON LODGE RATES
2009 Season ~ June 10 to September 30
The Atlantic salmon fishing season opens on June 1 and continues until September 30. The first run of salmon begin entering our rivers in late May and early June. Our lodge opens for guests on June 10. We want to be certain fresh salmon in our rivers when our first anglers arrive.
Our packages include lodging and dining, snacks, fishing, professional guides and transportation while at the lodge as well as many other amenities. Rates are based per person on double occupancy. Maximum capacity is 8 fishing guests and 4 non-fishing guests.
Guests arrive the afternoon before fishing in time for hors d’oeuvres, drinks and evening dinner. Departure is after the last full day of fishing. We are pleased to assist in hotel arrangements on your departure day. If we have availability at the lodge guests are welcome to stay.

Corporate Packages
We can arrange to reserve the entire lodge for the exclusive use of your company or group. Packages that include all the necessary fishing gear and equipment as well as professional casting instruction for beginners are available. Please contact us for rates.
Wine is included with lunch and dinner. Personal alcohol is not included however guests are welcome to bring their own. At our bar in the main lodge and guest house you will find all the necessary ingredients for the perfect drink. We are a short distance from a very well stocked liquor store.
Not included are fishing licenses and gratuities.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
Reservations must be guaranteed with a 50% deposit. You will receive a confirmation, receipt, and a detailed description of your trip. Final payment will be due 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival. Camp Bonaventure accepts all major credit cards and personal cheques.
We are a small business and cancellations affect us significantly. We depend on advance reservations to operate. When we hold a reservation and then have it cancelled, we have had to refuse others for the same time slot. If a client cancels we will try our best to fill the opening and issue a full refund. Otherwise deposits are non refundable.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. This can be purchased through your local insurance broker or your travel agent.
